Acting Class with Nick Musleh

June 7 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm PDT

Event Series Event Series (See All)
$400

What do Broadway, film sets, Shakespeare stages, and sitcoms have in common? People who move you.

Practicing a surface layer of technique for each medium can help an actor get by on a job or two, but the actors who really move us are the ones whose depths are accessible in any medium, any format, any frame or stage.

This class is designed to make you the actor who can express yourself and move people wherever you are performing. It offers eclectic and practical approaches to three pillars of modern and classical performance:

  • acting technique
  • text analysis
  • physical presence

Cost: $400 | Register Here

The first class is an introduction to assess your needs as an actor and to see you perform material you prepared with a reader. After this assessment you are placed in an Opening Workshop for two weeks to develop the foundation of literacy and training that will be expected of you in ongoing classes. Finally, you will be able to join an ongoing class to continually practice your work, bring in audition material, and learn from texts that are currently being produced.

Nick Musleh is co writer/creator of THE ROSY CROSS series being developed in Europe by Lasse Hallberg, with a host of British A-list talent. This past year he acted in the Off Broadway World Premiere of OUR MAN IN SANTIAGO, by Emmy Nominated Mark Wilding, and played the titular role in the highly critically received HAMLET at Marin Shakespeare Company. He is from San Francisco and has worked extensively in television, theatre, and film in Los Angeles. He is currently producing the feature film Love’s Labour’s Lost based on his short film that was an official selection at the BraveMaker Film Festival 2022.
