In just six weeks, you’ll take your story from a spark of inspiration to a polished script ready for production. This interactive online course teaches you the essentials of industry-standard screenwriting while giving you the tools to shape compelling characters, craft sharp action, and write dialogue that feels authentic.
(Writerss will be encouraged to use Final Draft, Celx, WriterDuet, Fade in or Highland screenwriting software. Google docs or Word is not recommended).
Weekly class is taught and hosted by screenwriter/filmmaker Tony Gapastione ( founder of BraveMaker) and special guests.
Tony has written/directed and/or produced feature film: Last Chance Charlene (now on VOD), 33 Days (currently in production) and dozens of short films which can be found on Youtube.
Whether you’re working on a short or a full-length feature, this course is for you. Hosted by screenwriter and filmmakerTony Gapastione, founder of BraveMaker, with special guest instructors, each week blends lessons, group discussions, and personalized feedback tailored to your unique project.
You’ll also receive a private one-on-one consultation to move your story forward. Past participants have gone on to produce their films, and we welcome writers at every stage of the creative process. Our collaborative, encouraging environment is designed to help you build confidence, fuel your creativity, and inspire you to write the stories only you can tell. All six weeks will be recorded so if you can’t join live you can watch the replay. It is encouraged to be present for all classes but if necessary one absence will not impact the experience if the writer keeps current on writing assignments. There are no make-up classes available.
