Wait: ONLINE Film SCREENING

WAIT: A Film. A Conversation. A Call for Change.
RSVP for this exclusive ONLINE EVENT.
What happens after sexual assault? How do we create a culture of consent, support survivors, and become part of meaningful change?
WAIT is a powerful 15-minute short film that explores the emotional aftermath of sexual assault, opening the door to honest, necessary conversations about consent, trauma, healing, and accountability.
More than just a film screening, this special BraveMaker event invites audiences to watch, reflect, engage, and take action.
Following the film screening via Zoom, BraveMaker founder and filmmaker Tony Gapastione will facilitate a thoughtful discussion featuring WAIT writer/director Paige Morrow Kimball alongside professionals working in the fields of sexual assault prevention, education, and survivor support.
Together, we’ll explore how storytelling can challenge harmful cultural norms, build empathy, and inspire practical steps toward creating safer, more compassionate communities.

- Total experience: Approximately 60 minutes, including the film and discussion
- Recommended audience: Ages 14 and up
