2024 Screenwriting class with Tony Gapastione
This six week online course will take you from idea to the page and teach you how to write for production. Learn the craft (industry standard screenwriting best practices) and workshop your idea to develop your characters, sharpen your action and write believable dialogue. (Students will be encouraged to use Final Draft, Celx, WriterDuet, Fade in or Highland screenwriting software. Google docs or Word is not recommended). Class is great for any level of writer who wants to make a short film.
Weekly class is taught and hosted by screenwriter/filmmaker Tony Gapastione ( founder of BraveMaker) and guests.
Tony has written/directed and produced a feature film: Last Chance Charlene (now on VOD) and dozens of short films, most which can be found on Youtube.
Each week includes screenwriting lessons, discussions and feedback customized for each participant and includes a one on one private consultation to help you move your story forward. Many of our participants have already gone on to make their films and we welcome all students in any stage of their filmmaking process. Our workshop environment is one of encouragement and collaboration to help you find the hope and inspiration you need to be a successful screenwriter.
