Director Edward Green was raised in San Francisco, California. He has been
through a bit of everything in his life from being homeless as a kid and
begging for food to working in Executive Protection for some of the wealthiest
people in the world. Most of his ideas and creativity comes from the
experiences that he has been through. Being on the street as a kid he would
tell stories with his brother to help them escape the reality that was there life.
This is is what sparked his creativity and drove him to wanting to be a
filmmaker. Edward went on to Serve 8 years in the U.S Marines from 2000 to
2008, doing 4 tours in the middle east. Edward decided to focus on his own
dreams and make them a reality by using his military benefits to go to
Academy of Art University San Francisco where he got his degree in Film and
Motion Picture in 2012. While going to school Edward was in the Executive
Protection field, where he got to protect the wealthiest people in the world. He
continued to learn and experience the perspectives from rich and poor. He
started Edward Green Films around the same time and sharpened his tools by
creating and assisting with Wedding, Music, short films, commercial and
corporate videos. Edward has won Awards for some his short films, A.I
Experiment, Trapped and Vial. But his goal was to always make a Feature
Film and learn what it takes to complete it by any means. Edward now works
for Intuitive Surgical as the head of Video Production and continues to grind
and show people that you can create your dreams through the work you put in.
